Corporate Advertising on the Newsfeed

What with this crap? I like being on here and reading the newsfeed and learning, sharing and talking about weight loss. I can ignore the ads on the side, but why are THEY now in the newsfeed. Is anyone else fed up with that? Is there a way to block them?
