Hello. Long story short. This past year has found me becoming more and more immobile. I barely walk. I can swim anymore which makes me sad. I cant bend, which makes me sad. There is not really anything that I can do. Before, I was able to swim, walk the dogs , play with my kids and even workout. I loved Zumba. I was in pain then but NOTHING like now. In the past year I have almost 50 pounds. How do I lose this weight since I cant move?

The simple math: Calories in vs. Calories out
I have a genetic joint disorder that created problems with me for a couple decades. It wasn't until a few years ago I learned I can work around it. But, I used it as an excuse and gained a lot of weight.
But, with my joint problem - I had to first lose weight before I could do any exercise (or risk severe problems with my joints - woke up one day unable to lift my head off the pillow, so I do understand the frustration you are in).

- You may not be able to build up muscle tone for your lack of mobility, but you can control what you put in your mouth.0
