Hi All! Can somebody please look at my diary If I should replace the chicken in the evening meal(post workout) with fruit salad(banana, apples etc), as I feel I am having too much of protein and less fiber..Any suggestions? Please remember I am talking about post workout( an hour or less). I do strength training for 35-45 mins (5 days a week, trying to lift heavy, can do 44 pounds squat and dead-lift in 10 days of lifting, split lifting, upper body and lower body ) with HIIT 5 days(20-30 mins).I also use a protein powder .I am also eating low since last 3 days to get over the weekend eating out and also to balance the coming one.My sister is visiting so on weekends my diary is crappy.I am also happy with my progress, just want some reviews and help. Thanks!

Stats:
I am 5' foot
132 pounds(from 167.2)

Hi.. I am not any expert but with my experience, I could suggest a few things. You might want to see what others say also, as I m not sure if what I am telling is absolutely correct. Your protein intake is still not reaching your goal, so your protein is less (you can think of increasing it). My trainer says, post workout you need to have protein that can be absorbed quickly (whey protein or egg whites). So you can take 3-4 egg whites post workout, shift your chicken snack to morning. Also if you feel you need more fiber, you can eat fruits during the day instead of evening. You can add wheat germ bran in your diet for fiber intake.

Don't cut down on your protein, if you need more fiber see if you can alter something else or take a suplement instead. Protein is your friend, especially if you're lifting heavy.

Both sounds like a good option!
