How To Lose Weight Gained On Thanksgiving

So, I was brave enough to step on the scale today and I gained 2.5 pounds. I'm disappointed, of course, but it isn't the end of the world…I was 2 pounds under my goal weight before Thanksgiving, so it isn't a major setback. I got right back on track yesterday and I'm proud of myself for not falling back into my old ways (in the past, if I had one "bad" day, it would turn into a "bad" week, month, year, etc.). Any chance that any of those 2.5 pounds is water weight, or would it all be gone 2 days later?0

Could be it's at least partially still water/food. Everyone is different in eating post-binge water; for me, it's about four days. It may not be the same for you.
But either way, even if it's a "real" 2.5 pounds, that's not so horrible, as you say. You're doing awesome getting right back on track. Just stay with that.0 -
