you may want to take this up with your specialist or doctor as you are recovering from an eating disorder..
that being said, if you are going to bulk you are going to gain some fat …I am doing my first bulk this winter and I have put on about 4.5 pounds over past six weeks and I know some of that is fat, you just have to accept it and realize that there is no way to eat more and not have some fat gain.
.5 per week gain sounds good.
Also, if you want to add muscle then you need to eat carbs…i would suggest a 40% carbs/30%p and 30% fat split…
what is your work out regimen?0 -
Totally possible, you wont get fat, your treatment team wont let you, its not healthy. ~You will get fatter yes but thats good , you NEED fat for your body to function , do you actually have a treatment team ? im having to trust mine completely and its working im the best i have ever been eating over 2000 a day, it was hard at first but get the calorie dense food, its not that you cant its more than your ed wont let you ... fight back xx0

Eat, do strength training, (not just abs, but do multi joint movements (squats, bench, over head press, pullups/lat pulldowns, etc). and accessory work curls etc. With ab work too of course. ) more calories you eat over maintance the more your weight gain will be fat. As long as you work as much of your muscles as possible you will gain muscle too.
I started august 2013 at 295 went down to 162.4 pounds couple months ago and now ~168. I've gain little fat but abs are more defined than when I was 162.4 pounds. Means I gained little muscle too. If I'm lucky 2-4 pounds maybe but I can see more muscle. Good luck.0 -

There are plenty of free programs out there on bodybuilding.com or muscle and strength.com. Also, as is almost always mentioned, Starting Strength, StrongLifts 5x5, or New Rules of Lifting. Google and YouTube are your friends
