Stretching after.

I have done 2 days on the 30 day shred. Reasonably fit active and supple to start with so not having too much difficulty. However, I have pretty well developed stretchy quads.
I do not think this is a warm up issue as I don't feel stiff or like I am pulling anything while working out but the day after I find my quads are sore like I have not stretched out enough afterwards.
I have never had a problem doing heel to bottom stretches, if anything I don't really feel like they stretch enough and at the moment that is causing them to be sore after the workout. I want to give them a real good stretch but conventional stretches are not enough. Can anyone suggest anything that will give me that nice pulling relaxing feel I am looking for?
*edit to replace glutes with quads because I am dim!

Try sme Yoga stretches - easily found online.
I was the same, didn't feel like the cool down strecthes on some of my vids were enouh, but I've found incorporating a bit of Yoga has really helped.0 -
I am on the google now - also I meant quads not glutes! Blaming my cold for all dim moments this week!0

Yoga... download a Yoga app on your phone and you will get the right way to do your stretches along with proper breathing0

After lifting I do pilates stretches and it really seems to help. For years the only exercise I was allowed to do was pilates and now I feel like I'm really benefiting from that.0

Pilates and yoga definitely seem a good way forward - unfortunately I have a dumb phone which does not do apps! Having a look on youtube for anything I can do at my desk too. Sitting all day does not help. Nor does my toes turning out dreadfully!0

Maybe try foam rolling. That also is really good to help work out the knots. I foam roll before and after working out now ...0
