rapid weight gain in last year

Hello,
Looking for some advice really... I've always been roughly the same weight, reasonably active, healthy etc. I got married about 12 months ago and lost a LOT of weight for my wedding. Obviously after the wedding, I overdid it on honeymoon, but I have been reasonably sensible since then. However, in the last year, my weight has crept up until I am now quite a bit over my heaviest ever weight. I know I am still in healthy range, but I don't want to keep creeping up and up until it's too late to do anything.
I am quite sensible in what I eat, and in the last two-three months have been working out two to three times a week, however, my weight is just staying the same, if not rising still. I obviously know what to do, as I have done it before, and have been healthy my whole life, however, now I am worried that I messed things up a bit by losing so much weight for my wedding..is this possible??
Starting to be a lot more concious of what I eat again now, and continuing with the exercise, so hopefully I will see results, however, I don't want to be in a situation where I have to work out all week and eat nothing, to be a weight that i've been my whole life without making a big effort for.
any advice welcome!
