Joining Equinox or joining a fitness class?

Hi guys!

I've been contemplating joining Equinox because they're having this great Black Friday sale giving away 2 free months, but I'm also interested in joining a fitness class called "Orange Fitness Theory", which combines HIIT cardio and weight training.
The only reason I'm hesitant about joining Equinox is because it's a year contract, meaning I can't leave if I want to. Also, if I do join the gym, I'm not really sure if I'll know what to do there? I'm sort of better at exercising when someone is yelling at me to do something...but then again I don't want to be limited in what I do, because I'm looking to forward to being toned.

  • Do the one you want, or haggle about the terms of that contract.

Equinox has lots of classes plus all the gym stuff, but is quite expensive. So it depends on what you want. If mainly the class it's bound to be lots cheaper.

If you can afford Equinox and are potentially willing to commit to a year, see if you can get a week pass to try it out. Most clubs offer that, IME.
