Hi all. I tend to go over my daily goal for sugar every day because of fruit. Are the sugars from the fruit something I should be worried about? Almost everything else I eat is very low in or has no sugar at all. Thanks!

As long as you don't have any current problems with blood sugar (e.g. diabetes), don't worry about the natural sugar in fruit. (: Just work to control any added sugars, but it doesn't sound like you have a problem with that.

That's a relief. I wanted to cut down on sugar but that would mean eating less yummy fruit. Thank you. :)

If you want to cut down on sugars (other than what is naturally in fruit) I would suggest using Setvia.

    There aren't any artificial sugars.

You can turn off sugar tracking at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings

or change the goal at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/change_goals_custom

I'm sorry. I guess I should have clarified that I meant sugars from fruit. And I don't eat foods where I can substitute sugar. I hardly eat any sugar except for the fruit.

    Thanks everyone.
