In fact, right now I am sitting at my kitchen table, swilling some coffee, while wearing fuzzy, polka-dotted jammy pants and rubber boots with pink horses on them. (And my husband's old work shirt).
All I've done this morning is milk a goat, feed a bunch of smart-*kitten* chickens and ducks, catered to a handful of ungrateful rabbits and goats, and scratched a pig's belly. I also walked my dogs, but they'll tell you they're all neglected if you ask.
Well, that and I;m trying out a dehydrator my dad gave me. You know, because apple and banana chips are amazing. But expensive.
I don't really do anything interesting, ever. Unless you find making muffins out of acorns interesting. Or teaching chickens to jump through a hoola hoop. Or making cheese.
But I DO sew, and knit. I make socks, and toothpaste. I'm nestled right between "dirty hippie" and "pioneer stuck in a subdivision."
My workout includes shoulder presses with 100lbs of feed, deadlifts with a 150lb goat, reverse curls with 150lbs of hay, and truckpull-push through knee-deep soil when I have to till my garden.
My diet is whatever I find, raise, or grow (see above: apples and bananas). I eat when I'm hungry, until im not anymore, and then I wait until im hungry again. Sometimes that means half a loaf of bread with jelly, other times it's a handful or blackberries I picked while I was getting firewood.

So, if you're up for being totally bored, send me a friend request. The best I can offer is pictures of adorable baby animals.

This reminded me of that tv commercial where the guy is hauling farm equipment with a farmer yelling at him. He called it "farm fit" or something along those lines and it always made me laugh.

I'm a rebel. So you are getting friended. How you like them apples? :stuck_out_tongue:

I crochet, cross-stitch and homeschool 4 lunatics. We have 2 pygmy goats and live on a mountain. Next year I'm planting a garden. And getting chickens again. I'm soooo boring. I eat low-carb but everyone else in the world may eat how they like, and I don't give a *kitten*.

I'm sitting at the dining room table, drinking coffee in frumpy, given-up clothes and teaching my 1st grader while fending off the youngest wild thing, hearing the 2 oldest fight instead of doing their school, and dreaming about how I want to use duct tape on them so there will be silence.
