I keep seeing adds for these on my FB at first i was like wtf are zaggora pants, had a spy lastnight.. I get that they make you sweat but just wondering has anyone tried them do they actually work (apparently you can drop up to 2 dress sizes) not that this is the reason i fancy a pair but do they help with weight loss

I own 2 pair of zaggora hotpaints. First, I love them, but sadly I must say that, no, I don't think the average gal is going to drop dress sizes simply by wearing them. There are no magic pants, pills, or magic shakes.
So, why do I love them? I am a fitness instructor and I love the FULL coverage they offer as I like to be very modest in my appearance. They are VERY thick, almost like a wet suit, so I can bend over, lift my legs wide above my head, whatever I need to do to teach my classes in front of 75 people and I feel VERY confident that my body is not being exposed and folks aren't looking at my "parts".
I also love them because they add another layer of "resistance" to all my workouts -- climbing the stairmill is EXTRA hard b/c the pants are so thick, it feels like walking with elastic bands wrapped around my thighs each time I lift my leg to move up the stairs (for this type of movement). I like to lift weights (lunges, squats, deadlifts) in them for the same reason. Because the pants add extra resistance to my movements, there is certainly a slightly higher caloric burn while wearing them, however, if I just walk around in them, it is not a significant impact to my movement. The pants make my spinning classes a mini-resistance workout for my legs while teaching cycle while wearing them. I am fairly strong so perhaps for a less fit gal, the impact of the pants worn during workouts would be more significant, but I still don't believe this alone would be sufficient for dropping dress sizes.
I don't find them especially hot but I always get hot and sweaty anyhow b/c my classes are intense, however, the pants retain your sweat so when you peel them off (yep, peel 'em off), there is buckets of sweat captured in the pants.
I hope this helps. If you are considering purchasing them and just wearing them around the house as you expect them to "melt" 2 dress sizes from your body, save your money. However, if you plan to actually workout, you like a THICK pant to cover you, you don't mind soaking wet panties, some of your movements/exercises will be more challenging b/c of the pants, yes, purchase them!0 -
I plan to work out in them, not fussed about dropping 2 dress sizes, would be quite happily drop one on the bottom half as now a size 10 on the top but a 12 on the bottom, i workout 5 times a week & after reading was like yeah they sound ok....not saying sweaty is a good feel, but i sweat anyway during my workouts. Just fancied a pair & wondered are they worth it do they help or is it just another weight loss gimmick like diet pills, shakes etc. Thanks for the info on them, its right along the lines of what i'd wear them for0
