155 days and 68 pounds later!

I have been logging on the MFP for over 155 days and with a 5 day workout schedule, I have shed 68 pounds. I could have not done it without the help of my wife ALHINT and MFP. We log our daily food consumption and workouts and she finds some very healthy and delicious meals through out the internet. I started out in November but never really was very consistent in logging into MFP and keeping track of my meals. I lost a little weight but not much. Me and my wife got hardcore about it in January like everyone else with new years resolutions but this time we stuck to it. I have not missed a day of logging into MFP in over 155 days and lost over 68 pounds. My wife has lost over 32 pounds. MFP makes you realize how much you are eating and keeps you accountable for what you eat. I even like being able to log in my workouts. My diabetes and hypertension is under control now. My initial goal was 100 pounds but I'm really shooting for 125 lbs total loss. Thanks to my wife and MFP for your great support!

Awesome work to the both of you! Such a inspiration knowing your health issues are better also. I have tried several times to loose weight on my own. FAILED! But with MFP, you are right, it holds you accountable, and really makes you see how you got to the size you were when you started! I bet I was eating 3000-4000 calories a day everyday, and work out, lol, what is that? I love it here, love the support from everyone here, and REALLY LOVE the success stories. You and your wife keep up the great work you are both doing. I wish I could get my hubby to try this. He is about 40lbs overweight, and don't seem to think it's a issue. He also has HBP and really high cholestreal numbers.0
