Daily Calorie Goal set by MFP

I set my goals to lose 1.5 lbs/week with exercise 5 x a week for 30 mins. I'm 5'10" and currently weigh 215. MFP set my caloric intake at 1,470 which seems a little low, but maybe it's not? Could I have my goals set in correctly?

It doesn't include the exercise until you do it. So when you log it you will get more calories on those days.
Also, if you walk a decent amount, are running after kids, or are generally active around the house, you probably aren't sedentary, if you chose that option. If so, changing it to lightly active will make a difference.
You will want to be a little skeptical of the exercise calorie totals when you add them, as lots of people (not everyone) find them on the high side, so many eat back 50-67% or so.0 -
That sounds reasonable. And as was said prior, when you exercise MFP will give you more cals to eat, so rest/off days might have you eating 1470, but exercise days could be 1700+ depending on the workout.0
