Putting a goal out there

I keep going up and down the last 10lbs. I have started and stopped many times. Last year I lost around 20lbs and got within a few pounds of my goal weight. I stopped logging and 10lbs slowly started creeping back on over the past year. I just can't keep myself motivated, so I thought if I put a number/goal out there I will be more apt to keep it. By July 13th I will be under 130lbs. I am currently 135 as of today, I am just under 5'3". My next entry will be on the secess board!!!!

That sounds like reasonable goal. Good luck!

5lbs in 6 weeks? Sounds reasonable.

Just FYI (you probably already know this, but...), the leaner you get the harder it is to lose and the more on point you have to be with your cals and macros. If you're having trouble losing, make sure those things are where they need to be.

    sounds very reasonable.
Is it only 5 pounds that you have to lose at this point? If so, it gets more difficult to lose as we reach our goal - remember that. Also perhaps you could try focusing hard core on your macros, keep them leveled out to where they should be and focus on getting your body fat percentage down. Sometimes when we focus on that, versus weight - it becomes a win/win situation because you'll lose weight AND your BF% will decrease. I hve started doing this recently and its really working for me. I love it! Just take some measurements and then every few weeks take them again and write it all down, keep up with it!! You'll see a difference.

You weigh about the same as me, and you have the same fitness goals.
Just don't get discouraged. Remember, when dieting, you can't be a person that eats pizza but eats salads. You have to become a person that eats more healthily as a lifestyle. It's not like you can't ever have pizza again, but you can have one piece, not four.

What are macros exactly, I am not clear on it. I am wanting to lower my BF%, even last year when I was down 10lbs, I just never got my BF in a good range

macros is short for macronutrients - fat, carbs and protein. As opposed to micronutrients, which is basically everything else (vitamins and minerals).

Total cals should be your first goal. Once you get a good handle on that, macros should be next.
