Hi - When i make a green monster smoothie with following ingredients and set it to 1 portion, the nutritional values of the individual items do not add up to the recipe totals.
The recipe is - one orange, one lemon, one lime, one banana and one cup of spinach. The result is most notable on the sugar values where the recipe shows 1g of sugar compared to 18g just for the banana.
I must be doing something wrong so any tips will be helpfull :)

You need to provide more information about what exactly you were doing and what database entries you were using. I did a quick test with the Food Diary > Add Food tool and got the below results. I haven't tried the Recipe Importer yet.

I always have to correct the database. I imported a pie recipe last week and I swear I spent more time tinkering than I did baking it!

ty for answering - and I tweak a lot now :) - i also see that on recipies there are several hits for ingredients and the nutrient levels are different. I just replace until I find one that I trust or believe in.

Still on MFP daily - down 24 lbs this year :)
