TDEE vs BMR

Hey all. I have been on a very long plateau and I am sick of it so last night I figured out my TDEE and my BMR. My TDEE is 2252. My BMR is 1876. 20% less of my TDEE is 1802. Should I have my calories LESS then my BMR? Just trying to figure out how to move forward. Any help would be great and yes I have read the road map but it doesn't answer this question. Thanks!

If you want a 20% cut from your TDEE (presumably sedentary) then a result below BMR is mathematically inevitable.
I've not seen a shred of evidence that eating 74 calories less than your (estimated) BMR is a problem in any way, although a bunch of crazy people will be along to tell you you're going to die if you do. OK, I exaggerated a bit :-)0 -
Do you do any exercise? If so, include that in your TDEE, otherwise you're not working with your true TDEE. Then your cut will likely be above your BMR.0

TDEE must include exercise, BMR must not.0 -
Thanks so far everyone. I play softball a couple hours a week and try to get in some walks here and there but nothing is set - not like I take an hour walk every night or anything0
