I loved shakeology but I'm currently out of it. I know it is beneficial but I'm currently saving for a wedding and we just bought a house. I'm looking for alternative shake options, recipes, etc. that don't cost an arm and a leg. Please add me or comment. Please no negative comments!

Hmmm....I see that these shakes have a lot of supplements and a good nutritional profile, but couldn't you get 90% of this stuff with something like this? I'm sure it's inferior in terms of all the extra extracts and whatnot, but you could just take those on the side in pill form and use another whey/protein shake for the protein+fiber to keep you going?0

I mean you really cant replace it with anything else since it is made from over 70 whole foods and no additives. I would suggest just increasing your vegetable intake until you can afford it again-4

Most people wouldn't notice a difference if they ate healthy foods.. or reasonably healthy foods. Fat loss only requires a calorie deficit, and that's pretty simple achieve.0 -
I use pea protein and Amazing Grass Superfood berry flavor. Amazing Grass has lots of good stuff in it! It's $30 on amazon.0

They are not needed for weightloss. I also question how "beneficial" they really are.0

I was a shakeology fan still am, use it once in awhile but I found it was just to sweet and expensive. I switched to raw meal vanilla not to sweet its still about 35.00 for 25 days worth you might try a sample see if you like it.
I use it as a quick breakfast on the go with almond milk or water blended in. Fruit spinach anything I have on hand to blend in.0 -
How exactly does that burn fat?
Oh I doubt it does, :-p it's just the name of the recipe in the recipe book I use!0 -
Why NEED a shake? If one is trying to reach a protein requirement, then okay. But a shake isn't needed to lose weight.
If you want an alternative, get a tub of whey and throw in some "greens" supplementation.

You can replace it with real food - you know real food0 -
Go to a store and find a protein powder that you like and mix it with fruits and veggies if you want additional nutrients. Shakeology really doesn't offer anything special and at 120 calories, you seriously have to question the dosage.0

I didn't post on here that I love veggies, fruits, eggs, chicken...all of that! I just have the occasional shake to mix it up and with Shakeology it was tasty and was almost like a treat so I treated that way. I would probably only have 1 a week at most. Thank you to the great suggestions that were positive and not judgmental.0
