Oh no! I gained 8 pounds....

On purpose! Just finished my first bulk. Over 10 weeks I gained 8 pounds (I'm guessing 3 pounds of water, the rest fat and muscle). Here's me before beginning lifting (133 pounds), after 8 months of lifting and eating around TDEE or at a very slight deficit (1800-2200 cals, 129 pounds), and after 2.5 months of lifting and and eating around 500 calories over TDEE (~2700 cals, 137 pounds). Yup, I weigh about four more pounds on the right than I do on the left. I completed NROL4W between picture 1 and 2 and have been doing NROL Supercharged between 2 and 3. Just goes to show you how hard a women has to work to "bulk up"!

Edit: To clarify, first picture is July 2012, second is March 2013, third is May 2013. So in total we are talking about 10 months of progress here!

Its a scary concept but the results are totally worth it! Next time I'm going to aim for ~6 months of bulking to hopefully get a bigger muscle gain.0 -

I came into this thread expecting panic over an 8lb (mostly water weight) gain from a temporary binge/holiday or something similar.
Love that I saw a fantastic success story instead. Great job, you look fantastic! Yay for lifting! :happy:0
