Losing weight for my wedding...

I have a total of 50 lbs to lose to be at a healthy weight ( according to my doctor.) I want to lose 30 by June of 2015 for my wedding. Any other brides to be here?

My wedding is an year away. And I have 34 pounds to lose. But looking at your pic, you look in quite good shape. Are you sure about those 30-50 pounds?

Doctors are silly, sometimes. If s/he is basing that purely on the BMI scale, then you may not have to lose 50 pounds. What you may have to do is focus on reducing body fat % and increasing lean mass. You won't lose much on the scale, but your body will look and feel completely different.

I actually weigh 180 in the picture (I'm 186 now) and I'm 5'6''. I'm not sure of my body fat %, but I know I want to be at about 30%. I do want to keep up the plan after the wedding
I have a 6 month old son and I want to be able to keep up with him when he starts walking around
