Hello. Just started tracking my food (again) and trying to now get some support from the community here. I'm hoping to have bariatric surgery next year. Are there any groups that cater to people who have had surgery?

Thank you! Is there a way to search for groups?

There is a technical support portion at the bottom of the community page - try reaching out to them with your question:)

It's great you are being proactive with your diet before surgery. I work with 2 women who had the surgery. One lost all of the weight and is very careful with what she eats. The other continues to eat very poorly and her loss has stalled...and she gets sick daily. Two totally different outcomes.

Welcome fellow San Diegan! I am not sure what is driving your decision for surgery, but there are a LOT of people here who have lost >100lbs and more that >200lbs using the MFP formula: Track your food, eat less than you burn. I have dropped 65lbs in 5 months and am at maintenance. Lots of sweat: No scars
