White kidney bean extract ratios

Articles on the 'net have convinced me that white kidney bean extract does have some effect on humans' ability to turn complex carbs into simple carbs thereby inhibiting the processing of complex carbs.
But I cannot find any figures indicating just how effective the extract is. Does anyone have any science to show how many grams of complex carbs can have their digestion inhibited by one gram of white kidney bean extract taken orally?
