Anybody on here thats ever competed? or wants to? or even knows anyone who has? I feel like its something way out of my comfort zone but i'd love to do! Im a long way off and i think its going to take a good 12 months of solid training, but i really want to give it a go! Im thinking a bikini competition as i dont want to body build and thats more of what i want my body to look like, any tips advice? I just started today cleaning up my diet (my food diary is public) am i on the right track?

I am currently training for my first bikini competition at age 50! Love this site for tracking foods.0

I would checkout her website, http://www.soheefit.com/.
She's really good and is actually colleagues with Layne Norton, she has a very intelligent approach to training and nutrition.0 -

There are a lot of ladies who compete that would take issue with that statement. I understand what you are trying to say but bikini is still bodybuilding.
I have competed before, in figure. It was also outside of my comfort zone. It was challenging, had its rewards but also had a lot of drawbacks.
My biggest tip is to start working towards your goal and in the mean time keep learning, listen to the good and bad and make your decision. There are different ways to approach this, some good, some not so good.
