Going on a training thing where I will be living out of a hotel, so I was wondering if any of y'all had any microwave recipes that you liked for food. I prefer not to buy a bunch of premade stuff, because I am trying to save per diem money as much as possible

Frozen fish and veggies can be microwaved. Or raw veggies with a bit of water taste good microwaved too!
Soups, oatmeal, eggs, omelettes, etc. eat the rest fresh, like fruits, salads, sandwhichs, etc
Also stuff like nuts, apples, seeds, PB keeps well, and put yogurt, milk etc in the fridge :)

will u have access to a fridge also?

Ive heard of eggs in a mug, never personally tried it. I've also seen these microwave omelet makers. Raw veggies or steamed in the microwave. already cooked rotisserie chicken. precooked frozen chicken, veggie burgers. instant rice, brown rice mixed with canned beans and veggies. oatmeal can easily be made in the microwave and add fresh fruit, nuts.

options not involving a microwave: yogurt, fruits, veggies. smoothies are great. there are many small single serve blenders out there.

My food diary blog might give you some ideas - ameliasfooddiary.wordpress.com. I make a lot of recipes in advance and heat them up in the microwave at work for lunches :)

I use Visalus meal replacement shakes and have found they are so easy when I travel. I either have lunch or dinner. The second shake is for which ever meal I decide to replace. Healthy snacks in between meals. Really simple.
