Viral infection?

Ugh. I'm getting tired of this, whatever it is. Started off Wednesday of last week with a sore throat on the right side, plus a sore and swollen gland right below my earlobe/jaw. I've been to two doctors, one felt the sore gland and did a swab, came back negative for strep. The other one did the same. I have no fever, generally feel tired, but otherwise no symptoms of a cold.

There was a white spot on the right tonsil, but I guess nothing was thought of that by the two doctors. Wondering if I should try a third. It's Sunday and it's still sore.

    I used to get that a lot from chronic tonsillitis. Sometimes it would clear itself up and i wouldn't have to go back to the Dr and other times i would have to go back. Unless it gets worse don't panic.

    One of the things the Dr always had me do was gargle with salt water. It helps some. I found that throat sprays actually irritated more in the long run.
