Looking for new friends on MPF who are active. Seems like a large amount of people on my friends list no longer have active profiles.

I am currently trying to lose 5-10 pounds in the month of December with a mix of trail biking, walking (indoor gym and outdoor trails), and some strength training. I am also graduating to advanced yellow belt next week in karate, which I attend class for 3 times a week. I may try some light jogging/running in the future once I feel fit. I have an injured left knee and want to be sure not to agitate it. Just a little information about me…hoping to hear from lots of you!

  • Hi Ashley. Seems like you and I have similar goals, etc. I am also looking to lose about 10 lbs by the end of January. My main sources of exercise are daily walking and hiking, body weight exercises, and martial arts. I don't know what form of Karate you are taking, but forms/kata are GREAT calorie burners if you give them your all. Good Luck!
