So over the course of two years I went from 170lbs to 100lbs. I was in maintenance. Liftinf heavy. Doing some cardio. It was so easy to lose the weight slowly just eating what I wanted in moderation to my calorie goal. I started having blood sugar issues from eating like crap, though. So I jumped on the primal like bandwagon. I leaned out. Had a 6 pack. Started fasting. Depression and anxiety disappeared. Blood sugar and other health issues disappeared. Six months of bliss and my perfect body.
But one day I cracked and started binging on apples and bananas and nuts. Weeks later it turned into donuts and other sugary carbs and 8 months later I'm back up 40 pounds.
I have no idea where I went wronf IVE had blood tests an all that.
I try to get back on the bandwagon and only last 2 days before I crack.
It was SO easy when I first started now it's so hard..
Advice? My weight just keeps rising.

Well you do know where it went wrong really
You chose a Paleo style - low carb diet, when you cracked which unfortunately for many people inevitably happens you went bananas (excuse the pun) and you've put back a) all the water weight you've lost and b) some of the fat you've lost by eating excess calories
If you cannot stick to a paleo-style or low-carb diet for life then it simply isn't the diet for you.
I would suggest - throw out everything you think you know about dieting - get off the bandwagons and focus on your calories in / calories out ratio
set your goals in MFP and check the calories it gives you
weigh (digital scale) and log all food and measure drinks
log exercise appropriately - if using machine / MFP database estimates then eat back 50 - 75%
eat at a calorie defecit all the foods you love, work out portion sizes, how you can accomodate foods that you crave within your daily then weekly defecit
and commit to learning how to eat for the rest of your life
good luck on your journey0 -

I agree that Paleo, and other food restrictive diets, have their problems. The end up promoting binging, as you have experienced, when you have some of those foods. Also, when you almost eliminate carbs, it makes it quite hard to maintain those results long term. I lost 64 lbs with my diet being 30-40% carbs (135-200g of carbs/day). Now I'm maintaining weight on over 400g of carbs/day. The key is to eat all foods in proportions that help you reach your goals.
How many calories/day were you maintaining your weight at? If you're maintaining at a very low calorie level, it makes it very hard to keep your results because when you start to go over that a little, you end up putting weight back on.
Please let me know if you need more help. I'm always happy to help.

It just stinks because I agree with the paleo way of life, not necessary the low carb as I did have rice, gluten free breads, etc and was lifting.
But -- I am a pretty naturey person so the idea of eating natural strikes with me -- on top of which my health was pretty crappy.
I might have lost 70lbs eating processed sugary food but not without the low blood sugar issue and fatty liver problems along with other issues that went away when I switched.
I literally thought I could do it the rest of my life but one day I just cracked and ate 10,000 calories in one day of fast foods and donuts, which I hadnt even missed once in the 6
months I was paleo. And now, I cant kick it. Even when Im lienant with what I eat and try to log food and stay under, I fall into a binge abyss I cant snap out of.
I feel like maybe I damaged my body or something, how can I reverse this side effect? Ive never binged in my life before this. But its pretty bad. "Hungry all the time" feeling.
Have had more blood work and such since then, nothing.
At 102lbs I was maintaining at 1700 - 1800 calories, lifting 3 times a week and cardio once. I walked a lot.
Now Im around 136lbs -___-

Perfect answer. I'd only add that you should monitor your macro levels if you find you have issues with energy, satiety, etc. Or if you are just needing to eat x grams of protein. I only really monitor protein and then tabulate my entire caloric consumption from all three macros.
I'd also actually add, if your exercise is very regular then calculate it into your energy needs from websites like health-calc.com or exrx.net (and use sites like these to set your maintenance and deficit needs instead of using MFP numbers)0 -

The solution to your problem is called eating in moderation. If ALL you ate was junk food, of course you'd feel like *kitten* despite losing weight. And yes, eating "healthy" does tend to make people feel better. I ate "clean" years ago and lost weight (didn't lean out as I wanted but I also didn't monitor protein intake or lift heavy, not monitor my caloric intake) and felt really good, but I also went through what you did. It's not sustainable. eat foods you love in moderation.
