The most weight I've ever lost has been about 20 lbs and I definitely noticed a difference. My feet felt less swollen and less wide which definitely made it easier. Also, I felt less pressure on my back and knees.

Op .. yes. I can wear heels now that I lost weight. I came from pretty big too but I'd
say until I was under 160 .. about there is when I noticed the change in stability.

I feel like as I've gained weight, I used to be able to run in heels and when I weighed 50 lbs more, I couldn't wear them without tumbling. Wore 7 inch wedges yesterday with a nasty hip spasm and I could still walk normally.

I have been wondering this too!! And hoping it does, I have some fabulous heels just waiting to make their debut when I can wear them without dying.

Not for me! I refuse to wear them, except a particular pair of wedges that are also sort of comfortable. I have bad feet and refuse to suffer for looks! My weight has nothing to do with this I felt the same at my lowest weight after having ruined my feet in bad shoes and heels as a teen.

At my heaviest, I wore heels and now I wear heels. I don't like heels that much anymore because with the 80 less pounds, my boobs now cause balance issues because not used to them being so out there without the stomach

I really hope that as I lose weight I'll become more comfortable in heels. When I was in junior high I loved wearing them. However, once I got into high school that's when I started gaining a lot of weight. That being said, I have only worn heels a handful of times in my adult life. None of them were pleasant.

I've got a darling pair of heeled black leather boots in my closet that I can't seem to part with, despite the fact that my ankles simply cannot handle wearing them. I hope to be able to wear them sometime in the future.
