Hmm I do the oven on aluminum foil 375 for 20 minutes but I like my bacon crispy. It's a texture thing.,.0

Low heat (I usually do mine around 3-5), and flip frequently. When the pan gets really greasy from the fat, don't drain it, and keep cooking in the hot fat. If you want it really crispy, it's best to flip it over frequently to prevent burning.
Though, burned bacon is awesome.0 -

With all due respect; in my experience those cooks who absolutely cannot cook certain basic things usually look for short cuts and/or are impatient when it comes to certain foods. You can't go and fold the laundry, or clean the bath while bacon is cooking, it needs some attention.
Maybe buy some bacon when it's on sale, sit down by the stove and cook bacon, 4 slices at a time until you get it right and you realize why you got it right. The neighborhood dogs could have a party with the bacon that didn't turn out right.
That is how my grandmother taught me certain basic cooking skills and it worked.
Good Luck !
I don't feel impatient when I cook, as I really enjoy it.
I do need some practice, for sure.0 -
Microwave... put paper towels on a plate, place bacon on top. Cook about 1 minute per piece roughly. Turns out perfect and not as greasy as pan frying!0
