I'm 25 and stay at home mommy looking to lose 40lbs. I'm 5'6 and 182lbs. I'm wondering what steps to take and what are the best dvd's to get me there?

    Hello and welcome! When I first started out I cut out all pop and started walking. DVD's I like to do at home include Leslie Sansone and Jillian Micheals. =) Good luck! You can do it!!

    Log everything you eat, but a scale to weigh everything. Eat less then you used to.

    Welcome! I'm new too. I loved Windsor Pilates and wore out the DVD's. Now I use a Total Gym & recumbent bike at home. We live too far from a gym.

    I'm starting out on videos and are using Jillian's frontside and backside. They are good beginner ones.
