Chandler, AZ looking for some motivation and friends

Hello,

I'm in Chandler, AZ and I'm looking for some friends, motivation and lots of encouragement! I'm not new to myfitnesspal, I come and go. I usually do great when I have people behind me, or when I'm on my own, but lately there is a lot of negativity around me and I'm finding it hard to keep in control. I'd like to find people who live close to me who I can do workouts, hikes etc with and build a friendship.

There are people around me who tell me I'm working too hard or that I don't need to lose weight because I'm smaller than them. I'm not trying to be smaller than anyone, I'm trying to be healthy and find a weight that is good for me. Just because they are severely overweight doesn't mean it's okay that I'm overweight as well just because I'm smaller than them, but they don't see that. I need motivation and people who really care and are on the same page as me, please help.
