The scales that measure body fat % are not very accurate. A good pair of body fat calipers are way more accurate. I got mine from amazon for $15.

We have a Withings scale, it was given to us by my DH's work(he's in the health industry . It does measure body fat but readings fluctuate according to my hydration level. My weight and fat readings are trending downward but when I have an unusual body fat drop I have to credit not enough fluids for the day. It's about trends for me0
