starting again, needing support

I am 40 and it's getting harder to drop weight. I work long hours and have two busy kids. I work and drive or chase them around. I can't remember the last time I exercised. If I had to schedule it this week, I would have to miss sleep. I know that I am supposed to make priorities, but as a single mom who is married (complicated, trust me) I need positive support not lectures. I give those for a living. I lecture myself often enough.

I recently got my first smart phone so I hope getting regular on logging food with make me more aware of what I eat.

It's all about calories in vs. calories out. Exercise is for health not needed to lose weight. It's no more complicated than that.

Watch "Downsize me" (available on hulu for free) while exercising (treadmill, stepper, jog in place whatever you can do.) It's highly inspiring (real people/realistic time frames & realistic weight loss,) motivational and educational too!
