Hi,

Just wondering if anyone is doing Isagenix? Can you please tell me a bit about it and is it working for you? Has it improved your overall health as well as weight loss? A friend of mine has suggested I try it, she uses it and loves it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks :)

Like all other MLM's, there is nothing overly special about it. It's a structured low calorie plan that emphasizes supplements. It will work (just like other diet plans) but it will be expensive. Most of us will recommend picking up a food scale and using the MFP method for free. This way you aren't eliminating foods you love and you will teach yourself how to succeed long term through portion control and exercise.

Oh and fair warning, you can almost bet your inbox will now fill up with "coaches" trying to sell you the plan. Happens every time.

    This.
  • Hi! I just started Isagenix about a week ago. I'm in love. I've lost 7lbs (no working out) and I FEEL good. I was kind of leery, it's expensive and the Isa group I'm in online is a little....over the top. Everyone in the group says Isagenix is so wonderful it saved their first born child - a little cultish in my opinion. Anyway, I didn't really care about much "health" wise other than losing the weight, but I was hoping for improved energy because SO many people say they see a difference in that. I am happy to say that not only have I lost weight I also started feeling better (energy wise) about 3-4 days after starting. My first two days weren't very fun. The first day I was hungry for some "real" food and the second day I had a massive headache from not having any sugar items or caffeine.

I agree what psulemon wrote about it not "teaching" you what you need to eat, however, to drop weight quickly and get some awesome nutrition I think it's pretty great. I'm using Isagenix with MFP to try and work it together so I am NOT stuck with "how do I eat" after I stop needing Isagenix. (Though at this point I can't see myself stopping, I'm sort of loving starting my day out with a protein shake). I would recommend you start up as an associate to get the product discount if you have 30 or more pounds to lose. I did that, but I did NOT do the "package" that I was being pushed to buy. I just bought the single IsaLean protein shakes.

I will say I've only had interaction with one consultant, the consultant that I bought from and I wasn't 100% happy with the conversations. I don't like feeling pushed, and even after I bought my first shake and said how much I liked it I was told, "well just imagine if you were using the whole system!" This person knows my family doesn't have $350 to drop for a first time try of a weight-loss product and I don't think she cared very much about my situation - she just wanted me to buy.
