So here I am again making the attempt to lose the weight. I did good 2 years ago when I started MFP lost 55 pounds, then my life went to hell in a hand basket. The stress of my job, the multiple diagnosises of my husband (2 crohns disease hospitalizations, and open heart surgery) driving an hour to work everyday and and hour and a half home. I was done I was tired emotionally, physically, and mentally taking care of everyone but yourself tends to do that.

I quit my job in July and went to work part time and went back to school. I have more time for me so I guess its time for me to be selfish. I am 262 pounds and i am 5 foot one, I am in the morbidly obese category. I have a gym membership I have used here and there over the past year but could not commit to myself to keep going. I want things to be different this time.

I am looking for friends that have over 50 pounds to lose. I want you to help me stay motivated by your successes and my own.

Welcome back! :) Feel free to add me as a friend. Recently, I've been doing an at home workout where the trainer is telling you that it is actually more selfish for you to not take that time out to take care of yourself, because it helps give you focus to be better in all aspects. I really believe that!!

Anyway, glad that you've renewed a goal to yourself. :)
