    I agree that if you are meeting goal, timing doesn't matter, as in the OP's example. But for others, if you are struggling with adherence, I think meal timing might matter. I just finished reading a study on meal timing and maintenance that suggests a high protein breakfast helps with the increased hunger and cravings and reduced ghrelin suppression that comes with weight loss. http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0039128X11003515
