We are lucky to have a swimming pool In the last three weeks I have started doing exercise in the pool. First I start with 20 deep knee bends, front, side and back leg stretches for 20 sets. I then jog in the pool in the low end, swim in the deeper end back to jog in the lower for 20 minutes, I when sit on a side step and do a bicycle like motion for 5 minutes. I can all the above for calulating the calories burned, but I can not find the calories burned for deep knee bends. Any ideas?

I looked at a chart I have. It shows Squats ... which is basically the same as deep knee bends. It says to calculate it --
0.096 x your weight = # of calories burned per minute x the number of minutes performed.
So if you weigh 100 lbs and did them for 5 minutes, it would be --
0.096 x 100 x 5 == total calories burned
Hope that helps. Wishing you continued success!! :flowerforyou:0 -
Thanks! Now to figure out how to include it in the exercise part of this website.0
