Losing too fast?

I expect that some people will want to punch me in the face for saying this but...
I have found it very easy to lose weight so far. *Touch wood*
I do admittedly have a lot to lose and my starting weight was 322lb. I used MFP for 2 months at the beginning of the Feb then slipped and stopped logging & took 4 months off before starting again properly in July.
I have now used MFP consisently since the end of July and have gotten my weight down by 70lb overall.
I did set up my account to try and lose 2lb a week but have obviously exceeded that and have been logging as accurately as possible and most days hit my calorie goals nearly dead on.
Do you guys think this is too fast? I obviously want to be healthier and still have a way to go before I get close to my target weight but I don't want to lose so quickly that it is considered unhealthy.
Should I switch my target to 1lb or 1.5lb a week instead or do you think its ok to keep going at the rate I am? I feel much better in myself and don't have the same back problems I used to get.
Thanks for any advice
Helen.
TL:DR is 70lb loss in 7 months too fast/dangerous for my health

No it's not too dangerous. That's a little faster than you probably want, for body composition reasons (muscle retention, skin tightening, etc), but you're nowhere near dangerous rates of weight loss. You're completely fine. Just make sure you're eating enough protein, and I'd suggest you start lifting heavy in the gym if you aren't already. You'll be much happier at the end of all this if you do.0

2nd lifting. 10 pounds a month isn't too fast when you've got a bit to work with. How much further do you have to go? As you get closer to goal, your weight loss will slow down.0

If you're not hungry and it's all working keep on doing what you're doing. Full speed ahead. The rate will slow down naturally as you go do you will need to get more active and possibly lower your calories the more you lose. What's your goal? How many kg to go? If not sure try to get your bmi at or below 25 and waist measurement less than 86cm for good health. Great work so far! Keep it up!0

Nothing motivates like success. Losing quickly gives you a reward for your efforts which will assist to keep you motivated. I would, however, caution you to ensure that the foods you do eat are nutrient dense, especially as time goes on. You might like to give yourself a break at some stage before you reach your goal to practice eating at maintenance before resuming your enviable road to slimness.0

I've not set my goal too low to begin with - I feel like just getting near it is going to be one hell of an achievement, I've set it to 140lb which is a little bit generous considering I'm 5ft3!
I haven't started lifting yet, am still too intimidated by the gym, but have requested a set of weights for xmas so fingers crossed that Santa agrees I've been doing well.
My daily goal is 1320 at the moment though I expect MFP will want to adjust that again soon. I suppose that once it adjusts to 1200 it will cease to decrease and that will obv slow me down anyway. I've checked and when I eventually make it to maintenance my goal will likely be 1600 so its not too far off what I'm eating now.
My week has not been good so I must admit that while I've stayed within my limits I've not really eaten well nutrient wise but generally I am way better off that I was. I don't think I ever had fruit or veg in my fridge!0 -
Most of the weight I lost was in the beginning. It will probably slow down by 3/4.0

Congrats on your progress.0
