Soldier Recovering From Surgery

I am usually very active, but a neck injury and subsequent surgery have put me out of action for almost a year. I have been hovering around the same weight the whole time, but the Army considers me to be 40 pounds overweight and that my body fat percentage is out of tolerance. I am ready - through diet and exercise - to becoming more fit and more capable to do what the Army needs from me.

Welcome! I hope you're able to meet all your goals. It sounds like you're motivated, and that's a huge step!

Thanks. Let's see if I can convert "good attitude" into weight loss...
