drinking water

I'm a relative newbie and I would like suggestions from the group as to how you manage to remember and drink your water. I never seem to have the time or the inclination and would like to improve this part of my program. All ideas welcome
thanks

I drink one glass before AND after every meal so I get at least six-seven a day. Then if I feel hungry for a snack, I drink a glass of water to see if it's really hunger or thirst. Usually it's the latter. I always manage to get 10 glasses a day with this technique. :)

The more you drink, the more you crave it. So keep trying, it will get easier.:flowerforyou:

i have 4 16 oz bottles that i rotate keeping 1 or 2 full of ice, 1 1/2 ice/water for drinking and 1 or 2 full of water for refills. these are on my desk during the workday and 1 in my backpack when i am out and about.

I drink a lot of water when i use this, because im too lazy to keep pouring water in a cup. Frequent exercise also helps me drink more water.

I keep a gallon jug at work. Fill it up with ice/water in morning and then drink it all day with a straw. I basically keep the straw next to or in my mouth all day.
  • Do you have a smart phone? There is an app that I have called Watermind Me and it will remind you to drink one cup of water every hour until you reach 8 cups!

I drink 16ounces before anything else in the morning. I carry my 24 ounce bottle everywhere with me and keep sipping every so often. With the bottle always there its herd to ignore the water level not going down.

I fill a large bottle that is equivalent to 4 cups ... then I be sure to fill it up twice within the day.

I force myself to drink 1 cup (1/4th of my bottle) in the morning before I eat or drink anything else. It's hard but I read that it was great for metabolism. I also drink a TON during my workout.. so if I don't workout I have a hard time finishing my daily 8
