I don't know anything about the Jawbone, but I really like my Fitbit.

Wait for the iWatch. It is more $$$, but well worth it.

I am currently waiting for the Up3 which is supposedly the most accurate after buying out the company that made the previously most accurate fitness tracker.

if you compare them on certain websites (obviously not the fitbit or jawbone site, other consumer reports sites) fitbit is more accurate

I have both a Fitbit Flex & a Jawbone UP24. There are three differences:

    • Fitbit makes other trackers that clip to your bra or slip in your pocket.
    • Fitbits can sync (via a dongle) with a computer. UP requires a smartphone or tablet.
    • Fitbit customer service is way better than Jawbone's.

They both show you your TDEE—way more accurately than any online calculator. And they both sync with MFP. (Log food & drink in MFP and exercise in the activity tracker.)
