By the way this spaghetti alle vongole is delicious, and so fast. Don't omit the lemon zest if you try it, it adds a lovely brightness. I had it with asparagus.

I have. Just make sure they are refrigerated and haven't been sitting out all night. Final test is the smell test. You'll know if seafood is bad. If they are not open you shouldn't eat them at all. I am guessing you already knew that, though.

I used canned clams, actually, for the first time. I was nervous but it turned out all right! I've never tried eating seafood the next day, usually finish off any food, or share, but I had to use the whole can for myself (makes 2 servings).

I'm glad it'll be ok tomorrow, because it was good
