Just need to talk.... I'm not going to try an make excuses but for The past 6 weeks my mother in law has been in the hospital. Practically Been eating out every night . Yes I've gained weight eating all the wrong foods. Just really needed some moral support and prayers for my mother in law... It's been a long rocky road with no end in sight. Its so very hard to watch someone with COPD lying in the bed gasping for every breath they take. . Thanks for Listening !

Sorry for your struggles. Sending positive thoughts your way! Eating out a lot can be tough on anyone's dietary needs. If at all possible, order appetizers instead of an entree, share an entree, and special order your meals as much as you can. You do need YOUR strength during this difficult time. Best wishes for you and your family.0

I know what this is like. I lost my mom to copd in March. I know how stressful it is watching someone struggle to breathe. I also gained a lot of weight during that period and am struggling to get back on track. I will send prayers and support your way. You are not alone.0

Hospital cafeterias tend to have a lot of healthy choices, since the medical staff also eats there. I start my morning with prayer and devotions. It helps me cope with stress throughout the day. Maybe take a break when needed, and head to the hospital Chapel for some quiet time. You are no good to anyone if you let yourself get run down and sick. Take care of you as best you can through this.0
