What would you like your workout accountability buddy to do?

I was a friend's workout accountability last year over the summer for 1 month, and she worked out for at least 30 mins 4x a week as we arranged. And she is now working out religiously to this day. It was not easy. There were times I had to stand firm and risk losing a friendship, because I was calling her out on her excuses and wasn't willing to budge.
Now I'm helping another friend. Each person is different. So I'm wondering if YOU had a workout accountability buddy, how would you like to be held accountable?

Well... I wouldn't want one in the first place because I'd be working out for its enjoyment, not because someone makes me. So at most, I'd want a friend to ask me what I'm up to and if I say "going to the gym" then they can ask to tag along if desired. But in reality I actually don't want that because I want to work out alone or at least look at all the beautiful eye candy on my own.0

I had a walking buddy a few years ago, but it didn't work out. I think it's important that you establish some ground rules before you start and have the same expectations and similar goals.0
