1 can of black beans,
1 onion,
1 green pepper,
1 egg,
lemon pepper rub
1/2 c bread crumbs

Mash the black beans, mix in onion, green pepper, and bread crumbs, mix in the egg to make it sticky. Shape into 4-5 pattis!

My recipe comes out to 4 patties about 170 calories each.
Opt for lettuce instead of a fun. Use your favorite burger toppings, ketchup, mustard, tomatoes, etc. and pair with a big yummy salad for a filling dinner! My favorite dressing is a light honey mustard!

You can also substitute flax seeds for the egg for those with allergies. Just google it for the information.

    Actually, it depends.

-Ovo-lacto vegetarianism (or lacto-ovo vegetarianism) includes animal/dairy products such as eggs, milk, and honey.

-Veganism excludes all animal flesh and products, such as milk, honey, and eggs, as well as items refined or manufactured through any such product, such as bone-char refined white sugar or animal-tested baking soda.

if someone doesn't specify anything and just says "vegetarian' then no- eggs are out.

Vegan-ism goes way beyond food consumption.
