Christian Weight Loss Journey

I am new here and hope to find other Christians to share my weight loss journey with. I need to shed 150 lbs and am hoping to lose about 2 lb per week. I am married x 33 years and am 61. I live in SoCal and love the weather here but not the smog. It gets a little too hot in the summer, though. I have twin sons who just turned 30 and am in the last leg of my life and want to spend it thin again. I love coffee, hence my username:smile: I love pets and have 3 dogs. Feel free to message me.

I am also a Christian needing to lose about 80lbs. I am also looking for other christian friends....
  • I am also a Christian. I am 20 with a daughter and a son on the way. I have an overall weight loss goal of 108lbs. (Which would bring me down to 145) So far, I have lost six pounds. =) Welcome to my fitness pal!

Do you attribute having one foot in the grave to your twin sons?

Wow! You're having twins too? That's really neat.
  • We are starting Made to Crave next Tuesday at bible study. If you have not already check it out. I read it on my own but am super excited to do it in a group. It is an amazing book.

The author and I have different definitions of making healthy changes. She gave up all bread, pasta, potatoes, rice and sugar and viewed eating any of those as "messing up" or "cheating."
