New name, same person

I used to be Jainarayan, but that name no longer suits me. Thorbjornn is Old Norse for 'Thunder Bear'. Thor (the real one, not Marvel, though he's not bad either :p ) is my hero, and I am a bear. Fitting name, I think. I've been down this road more times than I care to count, to the point of embarrassment, frustration and dismay with myself. In a word, I gotta get my bear-scat together. I have some cervical and lumbar spinal problems, and arthritis in my hips that has made working out a bit difficult. This messed with my head just like my shredded rotator cuff did. I swore I would not let that happen again, but it has. As long as I'm breathing, it's possible to start again, yes?

Btw, is there a way to preview before posting? I like this new format.

Start again, I say, don't ever stop. Don't let that arthritis get the best of you. Just push through it :) I have RA so I know what it means to have arthritis.

Thanks. It wasn't until I had x-rays and MRI for my lower back that the doc pointed out my hips. No wonder I can't run... and I even bought new running shoes! :s Of course, that's not the end of the world. I can walk, which I actually prefer. I use Map My Walk to challenge myself.
