This is a horribly tiny and short-term study, and the methodology is almost comical. I'm not sure I'd put much faith in it.

    From the article:
"For the three-month-long study, 23 healthy young adults engaged in 45 minutes of endurance training four times a week. The participants cycled with one leg, using the leg not completing exercise as a control. Muscle biopsy samples were taken from each leg, both before and after the study."

Seriously? Who comes up with these wacky things?

How specifically would you do it differently?

What kind of grants would you be able to successfully write for in order to enable you to produce the study in your manner?
