Late Night or Early morning food question...

Okay so I'm in school and as a result of that, I endure a lot of late nights. I'm not having a snacking problem or anything, I'm keeping everything in my calorie limits. However, for nights like last night (or this morning?) when I grabbed a banana at around 1 AM, shortly before going to bed, do I count that for yesterday or today?

Do you think it will really matter? I'd count it for the day I was in before going to sleep but in the grand scheme of things there are far better things to worry about.

That's a good question. I would count it as last nights, but I don't have any rhyme or reason for it. Just my opinion : )

It doesn't really matter when you count it as long as you count it :-) Try and be consistent if you can so it is easier to remember to count it every time.

You should log it wherever makes the most organizational sense to you. The calories count the same.

I generally count anything before I go to bed as in that day's. If I don't go to bed, then I'll probably switch out to the next day at 4-5 am (again, doesn't really matter, it's just what I do).

If your daily totals are wonky, make sure to keep an eye on your weekly totals, that might be easier to track.
