Cats are like us apparently, some of them can stop when full, others keep eating, lol. I grew up with 4 different cats, two of them were fat, two were fine. Same lifestyle, obviously. I guess it's tougher when you have more than one cat though to make sure that they both eat their share (my parents just left kibble out all day).
I have feeding times with mine, my boy won't stop eating. I went on vacation and a friend was watching the house and because she couldn't come by every day, food was left out all the time. He gained so much weight while I was gone, it took six months of dieting to get him back to a nearly healthy weight. The girl, she doesn't like dry food and will stay slim on it, but wet food she scarfed down like there will never be food again. The boy is the opposite, he stays slim on wet food.0 -
