Joint pain and diet

Options
Hi All,

I have several joint issues right now including tendinitis, mainly related to overuse/wear and tear. My main issue is a torn meniscus, but my elbows and shoulders frequently bother me after lifting too often. I am wondering if anyone has noticed a difference with cutting out nightshades. I eat tons of tomatoes and really enjoy them, so I hope it's not related. I have not been diagnosed with arthritis per se though my mother got it (osteo) a little older than I am now and I have had signs of future RA. I already eat fairly low carb and taker fish oil. Thanks.

I've noticed far less inflammation and pain in my knee joints when staying away from sugar. Sugar can cause inflammation ... When I do eat it, I pretty much always regret it because of the stiffness and pain it causes. Then I cut it out for awhile and my knees are ever so grateful. I have OA and need both replaced.

I'm not familiar with the nightshade veggies causing issues... it may but I'm just not familiar with that.
